How To Change Language
You can use Wonders in one of our supported languages. This includes changing the language in which the Wonders app is shown, getting our AI to respond in your preferred language, and even searching for papers in your preferred language (Advanced).
To change language simply follow these steps:
Open the menu in the top left
Click on the User Dropdown & Select Settings
In Settings, scroll down until you see Language Preferences, now select your preferred language
If your language is not yet supported, consider requesting on roadmap.readwonders.com. We're happy to add support for the languages our users speak.
You can get Wonders to speak back directly in your language of choice. This is currently an early-stage feature.
To get Wonders consistently respond back in your language, use the Context box in the Background column to add custom instruction. For example, you can say 'Rispondi in italiano' to get responses in Italian.
Additionally, if you'd like to Search only for papers in a specific language, you can turn off (or remove) keywords in English, and write them in your language of choice. In the example above adding the terms 'Aggricoltura di precisione' creates a search that will only show published papers in Italian. Please note that this may impact the relevancy of your results and you may need to do more iterations on your keywords to find the right results.
