Zotero Integration

Wonders can synchronize found papers with your Zotero library. To enable this feature, you will need to create a "Private key" and locate your Zotero User ID.

Setting up your Zotero integration

  1. On the homepage, open the Menu (three lines on top left), click on your User and select "Settings"

  1. When your settings tab opens, scroll down until you see the "Integrations" section

  1. Log-in to Zotero on the web and visit the Zotero Settings page (Click on your username > choose "My Profile" > Settings), or click here to visit the settings page directly: https://www.zotero.org/settings/
  2. Select "Security" in the side menu and scroll down, until you reach the Applications section

**Here you will find two important things: **

A) The button to "Create new private key" - You will use this to create a secret access code to synchronize your Zotero to Wonders

B) Your user ID - You will use this to allow Wonders to identify your account in Zotero, note this number somewhere on the side

  1. Create your Secret Key in Zotero - Name your Key, Enable permissions to Personal Library and Group libraries, and click Save Key

  1. Copy your access key and temporarily store it somewhere on the side, or paste into Wonders settings. Note that after closing this tab, you won't be able to access this key again and will need to follow these steps again if you lose it.

  1. Insert your Application Key and User ID into Wonders Settings and click Connect

  1. That's it! Enjoy syncing your newly found papers into your Zotero library!

Now you can go to any project and click "Export" (top right corner) > Switch to "Bibliography" > Select your Zotero Collection > And click "Send Bibliography to Zotero"
